The first batch of the Dair Ghaelach Knockrath Forest range from Midleton. Knockrath Forest is the latest chapter of the Midleton Dair Ghaelach story. The virgin Irish oak barrels used for finishing this whiskey were harvested from Knockrath Forest.
This Single Pot Still Irish whiskey was matured initially in American Oak Bourbon barrels and finished in virgin native Irish Oak Hogshead casks grown on the Knockrath Estate.
Amazingly, each cask can be traced back to one of six individual 130 year old oak trees from the forrest. This is from tree 4.
